Taylor Swift announces new album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’
Taylor Swift has revealed her new album in a short video promoting her boyfriend’s podcast.
This will be Swift’s 12th studio album, titled The Life of a Showgirl. The release date has not yet been shared.
She will also appear on her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights this Wednesday. On Monday, Travis and his brother Jason teased a “VERY” special guest, showing only a shadowed image. Fans quickly guessed it was Swift.
Later, the brothers posted a clip of Swift and Travis chatting playfully. Swift told Travis that blue suited him, and he replied, “I know. It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie. That’s why we match so well.”

This will be Swift’s first interview since she was named TIME’s Person of the Year in 2023. Back then, she spoke about her new relationship with Travis.
The couple first sparked dating rumors in September 2023 when Swift attended one of Travis’s NFL games. Travis had previously tried to give her a friendship bracelet with his number at a concert. Swift later said they started dating privately soon after, enjoying some time together before going public.
Swift said that when a relationship is public, it means she goes to see him do what he loves, they support each other, and they don’t mind if others are watching. The opposite would be hiding the relationship and working hard so no one finds out. She added, “We’re just proud of each other.”
Over the past two years, Swift and Travis have been there for each other. The NFL star has attended several of Swift’s “Eras Tour” concerts, and he even joined her on stage during a London show.
Swift, 35, has also been to many Kansas City Chiefs games, including the 2025 Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The “New Heights” podcast episode featuring Swift will be released Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET.
